On June 27, 2023, officers with Patrol Services charged 57-year-old Anthony Devincenzo with possession of property obtained by crime.
On June 23, 2023, Sault Police received an online report of theft of a projector unit. The owner of the projector found it at a pawn shop and was able to identify it as their property. Officers were dispatched to the location and further investigation revealed the accused had pawned the stolen property.
Officers phoned the accused to advise them of the investigation. They attended the Police Services Building where they were identified as the accused and placed under arrest.
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on August 21, 2023.
