ZORE, Jennifer Elizabeth – passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with Diabetes. She is now free of pain and reunited with her loving Dad.
Cherished daughter of Majda (Jean-Marc) and the late Boris. Beloved sister of Ryan (Anna), Natasha and her twin Andrea. She is predeceased by her grandparents in Slovenia. Jennifer will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, family and friends who lived all over the world, especially those in Ottawa and British Columbia.
Jen will be remembered by her style, her contagious laugh, her love for animals and her fantastic taste in music and movies. She was an avid food lover and an inspiring musician, playing Cello and Piano.
A special thanks to Dave, Gary and lifelong friend Josh, who stood by her side in the hardest of times, as well as to all of her co-workers at the casino. You all kept her going and lifted her spirits. Thank you to the dialysis department, diabetes association and all the doctors and nurses in Sault Ste. Marie and in Ottawa who were greatly involved in her care.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522). Memorial contributions made payable online or by cheque may be made to The Red Cross, the Sault Ste Marie Humane Society or Diabetes Canada in Jennifer’s honour.
