Tyler is charged for obstructing and uttering threats

On January 13, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 34-year-old Tyler Dunn with theft under $5,000, uttering threats, and obstructing a peace officer.

Around 6:30 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a theft at a business in the 600 block of Great Northern Road. When confronted by staff, the suspect threatened to return to the business and harm them. They then left the business with the stolen item. Officers were dispatched to the area and located someone matching the suspect’s description nearby. Officers spoke with the suspect, who identified themselves with a name later confirmed to be false. They were arrested.

The accused is charged with:

  • Theft Under $5,000
  • Uttering Threats
  • Obstruct Peace Officer

The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on March 11, 2024.
