It’s nice to see some rain finally, it should help a bit with the forest fire situation in the area. We have some lingering showers , off and on for today and into Wednesday. Some cooler drier air settles in behind the rain giving us Sun for later in the week. Don’t worry those 20 degree temperatures are coming back!

2000 The leaders of South Korea and North Korea meet in an historic summit

The talks were initiated by then President of South Korea, Kim Dae-jung. For the implementation of his “Sunshine Policy”, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2000.

Kids of all ages had a blast at the Touch-A-Truck Event for Habitat for Humanity on Saturday.
