One Charged with Using an Imitation Firearm, Uttering Threats

On March 18, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 29-year-old Kyle Naveau with uttering threats and using an imitation firearm.

Around 12:30 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of someone being threatened with a firearm at a business in the 600 block of Boundary Road. Investigation revealed the accused had shown an imitation firearm to an employee when they were asked to leave the business. The accused was arrested. A subsequent search found them to be in possession of a black BB gun.

The accused is charged with:

  • Using Imitation Firearm in Commission of Offence
  • Uttering Threats

The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on May 13, 2024.
