On October 5, 2023, officers with Patrol Services charged 38-year-old Benjamin Halcrow mischief, break and enter, and possession of a schedule I substance.
Around 11:30 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a break and enter at a residence in the 100 block of Salisbury Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the area and located the suspect, who they identified as the accused, nearby. The accused was arrested.
Further investigation revealed the accused had broken into the residence and damaged property belonging to the victim. A subsequent search also found the accused to be in possession of psilocybin mushrooms.
The accused is charged with:
- Break and Enter – Commit Indictable Offence
- Mischief Under $5,000
- Possession of Schedule I Substance
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on December 11, 2023.
