The City of Sault Ste. Marie is providing notice to all citizens that the John Rhodes ceiling track lift in the universal change room, is currently unavailable until January 6, 2024, due to the installation of a new lift.
During this time, there is no alternate service however, the accessible change room is available with a high/low change table.
The City of Sault Ste. Marie strives to deliver its services in a manner that respects the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities and is committed to ensuring everyone has the same opportunities to access its services. Information regarding the ceiling track lift is available from staff at the John Rhodes pool or by calling 705-759-5419. A notice will be posted at the entrance of the building and at the service counter.
If you require use of the ceiling track lift to access the pool wheelchair and the pool, please contact the John Rhodes pool staff prior to attending in person to ensure the ceiling track lift installation has been completed.
