Station Mall was a scene on Saturday morning with 30 lucky kids who were selected to dive for a bike. Small plastic Easter eggs hidden among inflated balls held prizes for all who participated. Rewards beyond three bikes included oversized stuffies, goodies from Laura Secord as well as tickets to upcoming kid themed shows.
The energy was high as the children rummaged for the treasures hidden while onlookers cheered and music played. The first event of its kind, the inaugural Dive for a Bike event at the Mall, cosponsored by Sportchek was fast, fun and well attended.
