On January 22, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 38-year-old Jennifer McMillan with break and enter, theft of a motor vehicle, weapons, and several other offences.
Around 8:00 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a vehicle stolen from someone’s driveway in the 0-100 block of Poplar Avenue, along with various keys, mail, a wallet, and other items. Officers were dispatched to the area.
An investigation located the stolen vehicle in the 0-100 block of Towers Street. The other property, along with the accused, were located in the 100 block of Pim Street. In addition to the stolen property, a search found the accused to be in possession of break-in tools, a knife opening by centrifugal force, a quantity of suspected crystal methamphetamine, and fake Canadian currency. They were arrested.

- Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Possession of Weapon Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5,000
- Possession of Break In Instruments
- Possession of Counterfeit Money
- Possession of Schedule I Substance
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order x2
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing and has been remanded.
