Inmate Throws Two Cups of Urine at Officer

On February 25, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 26-year-old Parker Poisson of Sudbury, Ontario, with assaulting a peace officer and administering a noxious thing.

On February 22, 2024, the accused, who is being held in custody at Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre (ATRC), threw two cups of a substance believed to be urine at a staff member who was attempting to stop them from flooding their cell.

Officers attended ATRC on February 25 and the accused was arrested and charged with:

  • Assault Peace Officer x2
  • Administer Noxious Thing x2
  • Failure to Comply with Probation Order

The accused continues to be held in custody.
