How Spooky Can You Make Your House or Business? Nominations for the first annual Hallowe’en Spirit Awards are now being accepted.
This Program promotes and encourages community involvement and recognizes the efforts of residents who decorate their homes and businesses in the spirit Hallowe’en.
There are two award categories – Residential and Business. In the Residential category, up to two winners per ward will be selected, and in the Business category, up to three winners will be selected community wide.
Judging will take place the week prior to Hallowe’en. Nominations must include the civic address, telephone number and the resident’s name. Any resident can submit a nomination, including self-nominations. The deadline for entries is Friday, October 13 at 4:30 p.m.
Nomination forms are available online at saultstemarie.ca/awards. Completed forms can be emailed to [email protected] or addressed to the City Clerk – Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre. A complete list of properties will be available at www.saultstemarie.ca.
