Head-on collision claims life of Perronville woman

SPALDING TOWNSHIP, Mich. – On Friday morning a head-on collision claimed the life of a 58-year-old Perronville woman.

Menominee County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash in the area of US-2 & 41 and County Road 400.

The woman was pronounced dead on the scene by first responders who state that additional occupants from both vehicles were transported to the hospital for significant injuries sustained in the crash.

The Menominee County Sheriff’s Office was supported by personnel from the Hannahville Tribal Police Department, MSP-Iron Mountain Post, Spalding Twp. Fire Department, Harris Twp. Fire Department, Hermansville Rescue, Rampart EMS, Guardian Flight air ambulance, and Menominee County 911.

The crash is under investigation.
