Members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service (SSMPS) Explosive Disposal Unit (EDU) and the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Urban Search and Rescue/Chemical, Biological, Nuclear and Explosives Team (UCERT) have safely disposed of hazardous material near the Pine Street Marina.
No physical injuries were sustained in the process.
Sault Police thank our partners with the OPP for their assistance to ensure the safe disposal of the material.
