Free Webinar – Clean North: Helping people to fight climate change through green action since 1989

The Sault Climate Hub is hosting a webinar presentation by Bill Cole, Chair and Project Leader, Clean North on Wednesday, June 26th at 7:30 pm.

Bill Cole worked as a forest ecology research scientist and research manager for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources for over 27 years before retiring in 2019 to join Clean North. Bill also volunteers as a trail maintenance volunteer for the Saulteaux Club of the Voyageur Trail Association.

Clean North provides information and tools to help neighbors, businesses and community leaders to make more mindful choices to conserve resources, reduce pollution and waste, and to protect and restore parts of our ecosystem. The organization also provides opportunities for people to get involved and to volunteer as part of local environmental conservation projects. In this presentation Bill will be speaking about who Clean North is, what they do, why they are still around after 35 years, and how you can be a part of Clean North.
