FirstLocalNews.com is partnering with Rogers TV channel 105 to launch a weekly weekend newscast starting Saturday May 11.
The newscast, produced at the FirstLocalNews.com / ONNtv studios will be anchored by Colette Linden and air Saturday and Sunday evenings at 6pm and 11pm.
“We’re excited to launch a weekly newscast for the Sault and expand the services of FirstLocalNews” said Craig Huckerby, Executive Producer of the 30 minute newscast.
The program will feature the bigger stories of the week and take a look at some of the stories we’re following for the up coming week. Along with weather and in-studio interviews with community members and news makers as well as other features.
“we’re starting with a weekend newscast and hopefully, depending on the feedback we get and audience reaction to expand it over time” Huckerby said.
Rogers TV is available to Rogers Cable subscribers. The FirstLocalNews Weekly Report will also be posted online on the FirstLocalNews.com website.

We have Shaw which was taken over by Rodgers but we don’t have 105 too bad would enjoy having local news for a change
