Disconnect Notices Delivered to Tenants of the Doctors Building..Again

FirstLocalNews has been informed of a disconnect notice given to the tenants of the Doctors building at 955 Queen Street east from the Sault Ste. Marie Public Utility Commission (PUC)

The notices were delivered to all the tenants in the building including medical offices and other businesses located in the building.

The letter reads, “It is with regret that we must advise you that electrical services at your location is scheduled to be disconnected on May 13, 2024. This action on our part has been brought about because of an outstanding issue with the owner that covers the electricity supplied to the premises.

The building is owned by 1667271 Ontario Inc , the same company that owns the former General Hospital Site . The company owns all the property including the former hospital, and the doctors building.

This isn’t the first time tenants have been threatened with the power being cut off, the owner ran into a large unpaid bill in the fall of 2022.

  1. What a surprise, not! The inept city hall doesn’t do their due diligence once again and sells stuff to a deadbeat group and things go down the crapper from there, naturally.
Will they ever learn from their mistakes? I highly doubt it as the horrible decisions continue.
