We are thrilled to announce that tickets for the 3rd Annual “Come As You Are” Gala are now on sale!
This gala is not just an annual event; it’s a celebration of our community’s achievements, a gathering of great minds, and a testament to the strength and resilience of our organization and dedicated volunteers! This will be the first-ever Gala in which we will present an Award to beloved community educators who have tirelessly supported people of all abilities in achieving their goals.
Please purchase your tickets in advance as this is your chance to ensure you’re part of this unforgettable evening!
Guests of our Gala can expect an amazing evening full of music and recognition while also supporting our local non-profit grocery store and its programs.
This year’s event will be held at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Center from 6 pm to 11 pm on Saturday, June 1st, 2024. The evening will feature live music with performances by Juliana and Blair during dinner and then dance the night away with Turbo Dads featuring Stephen Gagnon-Ruscio (you may know him as Frankie Valli from this spring’s sold-out production of Jersey Boys). Georgie’s Shawarma is catering dinner and soft drinks will be provided. Our newest Social Enterprise, Cafe 4 Good, will provide appetizer platters and desserts. The Bushplane team will be offering a cash bar. Throughout the evening our much anticipated and most successful Silent Auction will be open for bidding until 10 pm.
Tickets to this year’s Gala are $50* and include dinner, soft beverages, performances, as well as unlimited chances to participate in the silent auction, providing crucial support with employment for people with disabilities as well as funding our community collaborations and instore programs like Monday Meals, the Seed Library and the Community Pantry.
Tickets will remain available until Thursday, May 30th, or until sold out.
