Coco Needs a Second Chance

Each Week, FirstLocalNews will feature an animal up for adoption from Second Chances Animal Rescue.

Coco is their longest rescue dog.

He’s been at the rescue for over 2 months now.

Coco is 9! His family had to give him up after taking in 4 grand kids and their dog. The house was busy and crowded and Coco being over 100lbs was needing a new place to call home. “When I picked him up no one seemed the least bit sad to see him go.” said one of the volunteers at the rescue.

Coco has not found his forever home. He is a good boy he’s just big and strong! I think Coco is feeling very displaced and unwanted.

Coco is homeless. He is sad, feeling very alone and abandoned.

Coco needs a fenced yard. Hes too big to be tied out. He would do best in a home without other dogs but he is great with kids and all humans. He has chased cats before but never hurt one. He would do best with someone who is home a lot or can at least take the time to help him through his anxiousness that has been created by his displacement.

Please help Coco find his much deserved second chance. He really can’t afford another failed foster home as his confidence is at its lowest already.

Cocos adoption fee is a donation of your choice towards our rescue efforts.
