On May 11, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 63-year-old Irene Burch with break and enter.
Around 9:00 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a break and enter involving the accused at a multi-unit residence building in the 0-100 block of Terry Fox Place. Officers were dispatched to the residence. Upon officers’ arrival, the accused was located in their own unit and arrested.
An investigation revealed the accused had broken into the victim’s unit while they were not home and rifled through their belongings.
The accused is charged with:
- Break and Enter
- Failure to Comply with Undertaking x2
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
