On January 9, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 53-year-old Gerald Burns with break and enter, mischief, and failure to comply with a probation order.
Just before midnight, 911 Communicators received a report of an alarm being triggered at a business in the 0-100 block of Foster Drive. Upon arrival, officers found the business had been broken into and property had been damaged. Officers located the accused inside the building, and they were arrested.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
