There were close to one million vehicles crossing the International Bridge in 2023.
An increase of almost 400,000 over 2022. Prior to Covid-19 pandemic, the bridge connecting both Sault Ste. Marie Ontario and Michigan saw 1.35 million vehicles cross the bridge.
The International Bridge Authority says they recorded 971,006 one-way crossings last year.
78,394 vehicles with commuter fares crossed the border during December 2023.
Commercial traffic accounted for 4,801 crossing during the month.
