On November 30, 2023, officers with Patrol Services charged 30-year-old Tasha Stone-Perron with break and enter, theft from mail, and several other offences.
Around 9:00 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence in the 500 block of Cathcart Street. Officers were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, officers located the accused as they were leaving the residence. They were arrested.
A subsequent search found the accused to be in possession of a variety of stolen items including a watch, gift cards, a credit card, a passport, and mail belonging to ten other individuals.
The accused is charged with:
- Break and Enter – Commit Indictable Offence
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Under $5,000 x2
- Possession of Credit Card
- Possession of Article Stolen from Mail x10
The accused was held in court pending a bail hearing.
