Damp weather and clouds did nothing to dim the spirits of cyclists of all ages as they turned out for the Kiwanis Club of Sault Ste. Marie‘s Kiwanis Youth Bicycle Rally. Kids arrived with their bicycles and were registered for their chance to win epic prizes of sorts including a brand new bike and a one week summer camp hosted by Algoma University.

The first 100 kids were gifted with a backpack filled with treats and fun toys. The map for the scavenger hunt had participants leaving from the Bellevue Marina and travelling along the paved sections of the park all the way to Topsail Island and back.

The views, even in the gloominess of the day, were spectacular and the cloud cover served an important purpose in keeping the day and the cyclist cool.

All in all, a great day for family and friends to come together in the natural beauty of Bellevue park, get a little excercise, and have some fun! Well planned, well executed and well done!
