On May 21, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old with assault causing bodily harm.
Around 2:40 p.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an assault by two youth at the Donald Doucet Youth Centre. An investigation revealed the pair had assaulted a victim causing moderate physical injuries. The victim was transported to hospital. Officers were dispatched to the scene, and both accused youth were arrested.
Both accused are charged with:
- Assault Causing Bodily Harm
Both accused received undertakings for the above charge but remain at the Donald Doucet Youth Centre. They are scheduled to appear in court on July 22 and July 23, 2024.
