On February 20, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged a 35-year-old with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Around 10:00 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an individual outside a business in the 0-100 block of Great Northern Road who had a knife and was behaving and yelling erratically. Officers were dispatched to the scene and took physical control of the accused. They were apprehended. A search found the accused to be in possession of two knives. They were arrested.
The accused is charged with:
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on April 22, 2024.
