WHEELER, Judith (nee Dear)
Passed away peacefully at The FJ Davey Home on December 16, 2023, in her 78th year after a battle with dementia. She is now reunited with her husband of 40 years, Robert Wheeler.
Judith was a devoted mother to David Kent (Lori), Mark Wheeler (Monika), and Maureen Wheeler (Frazer). Cherished Grandmother to Rachel, Amanda, Robbie-Phyllis, Jennifer, Samantha, and Jessica. Adored Great-Grandmother to Piper-Mae and Benjamin.
Born to the late Stan and Elizabeth Dear, Judith was a loving sister to Doreen, the late Frank, Alan, the late Janice, and Doug. She was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Judith will be deeply missed by all her friends at the quilting club.
Judy’s passion for sewing and creating beautiful quilts brought her immense joy, her family is blessed with many of these cherished creations. Judy found happiness in her sewing room, and her legacy lives on through the warmth of her quilts.
Judy enjoyed memorable trips with family and friends across the bridge to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Her delicious cabbage rolls and perogies, couriered with love, will be fondly remembered.
A Celebration of Judith’s Life will be held at a later date, in the spring to be announced.
