Officers in Traffic Services have charged a 32-year-old Sault Ste. Marie resident with careless driving causing death under the Highway Traffic Act in relation to a fatal collision that took place on September 6, 2023.
The collision involved three vehicles: two pickup trucks and a delivery van. One of the pickup truck drivers, 26-year-old Mikayla Ouellett, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Ford pickup truck, which was travelling eastbound when it struck the other two vehicles, has been charged with careless driving causing death.
