Unexpected Cabinet Shuffle Seen as “New Team” For Next Federal Election

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has called all ministers back to Ottawa for a series of meetings today and Tuesday ahead of an impeding cabinet shuffle , reports the CBC.

An unexpected cabinet shuffle could take place on Wednesday according to sources.

Ministers from Inter-government Affairs, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of Official Languages are just a few of the Cabinet ministers meeting with the Prime Minister today.

It’s believed that this could be the largest shuffle of Cabinet to Trudeau’s cabinet since October 2021, one month after the Liberals were elected to a second minority mandate. Sources say the new Cabinet carry the Liberals into the next Federal election in the fall of 2025.
