UPDATE: Kayla and Mya Johnson have been located safely and are no longer considered missing.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is requesting public assistance to locate missing 15-year-old Kayla Johnson and 13-year-old Mya Johnson.
The sisters were last seen in the 0-100 block of Churchill Boulevard on June 15, 2024.
Kayla is described as approximately 5’3” tall with black hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing shorts with white slip-on Adidas shoes.
Mya is described as approximately 5’3” tall with blonde hair, hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a blue tank top and grey jogging pants.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Constable Angela King by calling 705-949-6300 ext. 232.
They have been found but they did not say where or what the circumstances were. Kids nowadays are so rebellious you never know what some of them are going to do next just to worry or get back at their parents for trying to keep them on the straight and narrow.
