“Tina” shows exactly What Love’s Got to do with It

Tina Simply the Best

On Thursday, July 13th the Sault had the chance to sample yet another epic tribute performance, this time celebrating the late Tina Turner, Queen of Rock! Caroline Borole brought the passion, electric vocals and high power dance moves that evoked the spirit of Tina as she embodied the role and captivated the audience. A voice that could be described as throaty and completely enthralling she rocked the house for a nearly 2 hour set performing a sample of the icons most popular hits including River Deep, Mountain High, We Don’t need Another Hero, and Better Be Good To Me and so many more.

Interacting with the audience she had many dancing and on their feet throughout the show. Use of a screen brought in scenes from Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome in which Turner had a key role and in one poignant moment, Borole was signing as an image of Turner looked on from the screen.

Another amazing spectacle of lights, dazzling costumes and synchronized dance from Showtime Australia, the producers of other international tributes such as Queen: It’s a Kinda Magic, which dazzled the Sault audience just months ago!

Backed by a brass section, band, backing vocalists and dancers, the entire experience was one to remember. As before the show ended with a promise of return to the stage locally.

Do not miss your chance to be in the audience for one of these shows!
