Significant Damage in Trelawne House Fire

On Sunday, February 4th, 2024, Sault Ste. Marie Fire Service crews responded to a call of a fire in a residential dwelling in the central area of the city.

Shortly before 10:00 a.m., crews responded to a fire in a residential 2-storey dwelling in the 100 block of Trelawne Avenue. Firefighters assisted occupants out of the residence. Fire crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire is undetermined.

PUC Services, Enbridge Gas and the Humane Society attended the scene.

There is significant damage to the dwelling. There are no injuries to report.
