Sault Ste. Marie Michigan student hit by truck

Yesterday the Sault Ste. Marie Police Department responded to a traffic crash involving a pickup truck and pedestrian. The crash took place near the intersection of Ashmun Street and Sheridan Drive, just south of the Ashmun Street bridge.

The pedestrian is 15 years old and a student of the Sault Area School District. The pedestrian was injured during the crash and transported to the hospital. The pedestrian is in stable condition.

The crash is under investigation.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Department was assisted by the following agencies: Sault Ste. Marie Fire Department, Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, and Chippewa County Central Dispatch.

It’s pretty bad when you have to post news from another country because you have nothing worthwhile to fill the void, this is another sure sign that the ever shrinking, polluted, crime ridden village, with mostly shot roads is dying at a faster pace than ever, as more poor, irresponsible decisions are made every day that seals it’s grim fate.
