Sault Could See Up To 25cm Tonight

Environment Canada has issued a winter weather advisory for the Sault Ste. Marie and Superior East areas.

Heavy lake-effect snows are occurring or developing into Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Sault Ste. Marie could see up to 25cm from lake effect snows.

Temperatures are expected to fall below freezing leading to accumulation tonight.

Lake effect snow started overnight Sunday into Monday morning. About 5cm has fallen with about 3 cm accumulating thus far.
