On October 14, 2023, 911 Communicators received reports of a robbery at a business in the 400 block of McNabb Street.
Patrol officers responded and secured the scene. Investigation determined someone attended the business, stole items, then while leaving the area, brandished a gun at someone attempting to retrieve the stolen items. No physical injuries have been reported.
Members from the Emergency Services Unit including the Canine Unit were called in to conduct a canine track for the person. No arrests have been made at this time. Patrol officers are no longer holding the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
At the crux of this entire massive problem are dirty poisonous drugs, drugs that cause people to do many desperate things. How about some change for the better, for a drastic change?
I think us non-drug users are getting a bit tired of feeling we are not supportive enough of drug addicts. How about putting some responsibility on them for a change. There are ways to get clean if they so desire.
No one forced them to do drugs ! Their choice !
