Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with family by his side.
Cherished husband of Sue for 47 years. Loving father of Craig Penny (Lisa) and Jeffrey Penny (Leslie). Adored grandpa of McKenna, Hayley, Alyssa and Nathanial. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Doris Penny. Survived by his brothers; Dennis, Brian (Wendy) and Raymond (Rhonda). He will be missed by his many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mervin will be remembered by his camping friends and will be missed at the ‘Wine Nights’, as well as his co-workers and customers from Metro in the Churchill Plaza where he worked for 44 years.
The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctors at the Sault Area Hospital for all the care given to him.
As per Mervin’s wishes, there will not be any funeral. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Summer.
