One Charged with Possession Heroin, Cocaine and Other Substances

On September 29, 2023, officers with Patrol Services charged 36-year-old Calvin Lecuyer with three counts of possession of a schedule I substance and several other offences.

Around 8:30 p.m., patrol officers conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Trunk Road. Officers observed an open container of alcohol between the driver and passenger seat. This passenger was later identified as the accused.

Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and found the accused to be in possession of approximately seven grams of a substance believed to be cocaine, approximately two grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine, approximately three grams of a substance believed to be heroin, and a knife. The accused fled the scene during the search but was quickly located nearby and arrested.

The accused is charged with:

  • Possession of Schedule I Substance x3
  • Failure to Comply with Judicial Release Order x5

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing and has since been remanded.
