On March 5, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 30-year-old Taylor Botham with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking and personation with intent.
Around 4:30 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of a suspicious person in a parking lot in the 400 block of Pim Street. Officers were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, officers located the accused, who provided a false identity. Officers recognized the suspect as the accused, who had a warrant for their arrest as they had failed to comply with their release order. They were arrested. A subsequent search found the accused to be in possession of approximately eight grams of suspected fentanyl. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is $1,688.
The accused is charged with:
- Possession of Schedule I Substance for Purpose of Trafficking
- Personation with Intent to Avoid Arrest, Prosecution, or Obstruct Justice
- Failure to Comply with Release Order x2
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
