On May 18, 2024, officers with Patrol Services charged 35-year-old Justin Tessier with assault.
Around 7:00 a.m., 911 Communicators received a report of an assault in the 100 block of Chapple Avenue. An investigation revealed the accused had punched someone unknown to them when they were asked to leave the property. The victim sustained minor physical injuries and was transported to hospital. Officers were dispatched to the area where they located, and arrested, the accused in the 200 block of McNabb Street.

The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on July 15, 2024.
