Northside Toyota inspires community to donate over $12,000 in aid for those in need

For the ninth consecutive year, the annual Fill The Tundra fundraiser, aimed at addressing local food insecurity, achieved its goal with the unwavering support of the Sault Ste. Marie community.

The collective effort of community members and local sponsors resulted in Northside Toyota raising over $12,000 in online donations, along with an abundance of non-perishable food items at Rome’s and Pino’s over the last several weeks. These food items will provide crucial assistance to those facing hardship during the holiday season. Donations will go a long way to help the Soup Kitchen and St. Vincent Place

“We would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to the invaluable support of local businesses that matched online donations. Once again this year we were able to exceed the previous year in food donations and monetary donations,” says Mario Palumbo, Dealer Principal at Northside Toyota.

“We want to say thank you to everyone for their contributions and generosity during the holiday season. We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come.”

“A special thank you goes to Rome’s, Pino’s, and the U14 AAA Soo Jr. Greyhounds for once again taking part in this excellent tradition. We look forward to next year, which will be the 10th anniversary of this wonderful event! It will truly be the biggest and best year yet!”

Northside Toyota, would like to express their deepest gratitude to the community and their sponsors for their unwavering support over this holiday season.
