Sault Ste. Marie Mayor Matthew Shoemaker will host the mayors and chief administrative officers of North Bay, Sudbury, Thunder Bay and Timmins at a Northern Ontario Large Urban Mayors (NOLUM) meeting on today at the Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre .
Agenda items for the meeting feature topics of shared concern including funding a new deal with the Government of Ontario, physician recruitment, labour force development and the mental health and addictions crisis. The Mayors will also participate in a panel discussion for TVO’s The Agenda with Steve Paikin.
