On Monday, April 8th, 2024, shortly before 7:00 a.m., Sault Ste. Marie Fire Service crews responded to a call of a residential garage fire in the 100 block of Dennis Street.
Upon arrival, there were visible flames from the detached garage structure. Fire crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
PUC Services and City Police Services attended the scene.
As a result of the fire, there is significant fire damage to the garage. There is damage to numerous neighbouring structures. There were no injuries to report.
