MSP Gladstone Post investigates alleged road rage incident

SENEY, Mich. – Michigan State Police 8th District Public Information Officer Lt. Mark Giannunzio has reported Tuesday afternoon that the MSP is investigating the legitimacy of a road rage report near Seney, Michigan.

A reported road rage confrontation Monday evening in Schoolcraft County is under investigation, according to the Michigan State Police.

In a news release from Tuesday morning troopers from the Michigan State Police Gladstone Post were investigating an alleged road rage incident that was said to have occurred on Monday around 6:00 p.m. Troopers were called to the Seney area on M-28 in response to a report of an assault after a road rage confrontation between two drivers.

The MSP news release did not describe the assault, although on Monday night, the MSP confirmed over the phone that there had been reports of gunshots fired at a vehicle in the Seney area.

The suspect vehicle was described as an orange Hyundai SUV.
