After Sault Ste. Marie city council approved a five storey apartment building on Allard street, another development addressing the housing shortage in Sault Ste. Marie has been announced.
Property located on northern Pine Street near the Pine Street / Second Line East Intersection will soon be the location of three six storey apartment buildings developed by Ruscio Construction.

The new apartment building are conveniently located near the Sault Collage Campus and the St. Mary’s College on Second Line.
Several apartment developments are currently in the construction phase including a new multi-unit apartment development on South Market near the Wellington Square, a massive apartment building is going up on the former Tara Hall location on lower Pim Street. A planned 9 storey apartment building is still awaiting a construction date for the Cara Community on Northern Ave. and Great Northern Road.
The Pine Street development will add well over 100 new units to the market.
