Korah Collegiate completed a very successful Super Bowl draw.

This year a total of 4713 tickets were sold, which amounts to a profit of approximately $51,100.00 after expenses. That brings the 14-year total to over $330,000.00 and the highest amount earned in Super Bowl Draw history.  Korah wishes to thank everyone in the community who made this year’s raffle such a huge success.

All proceeds raised from the Korah Parent-Teacher Association Super Bowl Raffle will be used to support student activities eligible under the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Rules. Korah students, parents, staff and supporters diligently sold tickets over the last four months as sales must cover the cost of the Super Bowl prize package before funds can be saved for the students.  Many local businesses have been active sales volunteers for years.

The draw event included fun student football challenges, live music and a rowdy crowd.

This year’s winner of the trip to watch the Super Bowl in Las Vegas is Soo-ite David Vilaca.
