Local 2251 Rally Planned On Physician Shortage

Local 2251 will be attending a Rally on Friday March 1, 2024 in front of Ross Romano’s office at 390 Bay St., from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm.

The purpose of the Rally is to convince the Conservative Government to address the physician shortage using the https://www.cpso.on.ca/en/Physicians/Registration/Registration-Policies/Practice-Ready-Assessment-Program.

This process is available in Ontario to fast track Internationally trained doctors to be able to provide various levels of health care.

Local 2251 is requesting that all members de-rostered from the Group Health Centre and all citizens of Sault Ste. Marie affected by the shortage of primary care physicians attend the rally.

They are also requesting that all Local 2251 members that are available donate the one hour on Friday March 1, 2024 in support of their brothers, sisters and retirees that have been de-rostered due to the shortage of primary care physicians.

  1. The mostly Sudbury based Polkaroo might actually poke his head out of his den for a photo op, but then again he might not when it comes to anything negative that he deems bad for his already poor reputation.
    He would not want to risk putting his slack job with the fat salary in any jeopardy at all.

  2. It’s time to skid ALL of the Fiberal deeply corrupt and out-of-touch-with-reality party and anyone that supports them. They are corruptly spending billions like drunken sailors as they continue to flush the country down the crapper.
