Words cannot express the incredible sadness that we are left with as we announce the passing of Cherie Lee Liddiard (Thibault) on May 5th, 2024 at the age of 44. Cherie passed away at the Sault Ste. Marie Area Hospital Intensive Care Unit, with family and friends by her side.
Cherie was the beloved wife, best friend and sidekick of Colin Clifford Liddiard who will forever miss her loving smile. Mother of Richard, Thomas and Edward Thibault and Bryce Peterson.
Cherie was born in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario on August 21, 1979. Loving daughter of Paul Richard Thibault (Anita) and Sharon Thibault-Barill (Jamie). Granddaughter of the late Paul and Peggy Thibault and Armand (late) and Barbara LeBlanc. Sister of Paul Thibault Jr (Sandra) and Megan Barill (Tyler LeBel), who will miss her dearly. She will be forever remembered by her nieces and nephews Hannah and Nathan Thibault and Jordyn and Mya LeBel, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cherie was an amazing person. Her love for her family was indisputable and showed a level of love and loyalty that will never be forgotten. Cherie showed us how to live life in and for the moment, and how to celebrate the small things in life.
As per Cherie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday May 18, 2024, at the Roberta Bondar Pavilion, between 11am and 3pm.
A special thank you to the Sault Area Hospital’s nurses and doctors from the Intensive Care Unit for the kindness, thoughtfulness and patience that will never be forgotten.
