How Terry Sheehan Really Feels About Pierre Poilievre’s Axe The Tax Campaign

sheehan

Sault Ste. Marie MP, Terry Sheehan issued the following release Friday. Sheehan made the statement following a visit to Sault Ste. Marie by Conservative and Shadow Minister Scott Aitchison. Aitchison met with local residents Friday to discuss Pierre Poilievre’s Axe the Tax campaign for Northern Ontario..

Pierre Poilievre and the Conservatives have been misleading Canadians. They’re simply not telling the truth.

Our government is doubling the rural community top-up to the Climate Rebate across Canada, including the Soo and area.

Our government is temporarily pausing the price on pollution on home heating oil everywhere in the country, so people can make the change to cleaner solutions.

Our government is providing up to $15,000 toward the cost of home heat pumps in participating provinces and territories. Doug Ford needs to come to the table and join us.

Pierre is either being untruthful, or they do not know the community. Both are unacceptable.

  1. Funny. All your government has done is make EVERYTHING more expensive. Inflation, interest rates, taxes,…on top of that your government’s leader can’t even keep the scandals straight.

    Time to leave.

  2. Really Terry ,I don’t understand why you are still supporting this WEF /NAZI .WHO has sold us all out to Klaus Schwab and his evil ideas .I will not comply with the Liberal Lies.
Either switch parties to Conservative or resign.

  3. Home heating oil? Does this include natural gas or electricity prices? Baseboard heat is through the roof and extremely expensive to replace. Natural gas is the better alternative, but the running cost is still double what it was just a short time ago. Seldom does any still use an oil fired furnace.
Your carbon tax is almost single handedly responsible for food inflation nation wide. Did you think anyone shipping anything in this country wouldn’t pass the tax on to consumers? Axe the tax, stop pissing away assets to look good for G7. All Canadians should come first, we vote, we pay the taxes.

  4. MP Sheehan, in a statement released after Aitchison’s visit, wrote “Pierre Poilievre and the Conservatives have been misleading Canadians. They’re simply not telling the truth.” And Liberals never mislead do they?

  5. I am not thrilled with the Conservative leader but I am prepared to vote for him to rid ourselves of Trudeau. Hopefully, there are many others feeling the same way.

  6. Mr Sheehan did not address the issue of high cost to Canadians with the useless carbon tax, instead he slings mud at an opponent.
a mud covered liberal slinging mud at others, too funny

  7. how do you walk without a spine sheehan? stop defending trudeaus useless tax and stand up for us. i cant wait until all these useless liberal puppets are gone.
