Passes are now on sale for the Bon Soo Winter Carnival, back for its 61st year of winter fun!
Presented by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), the Bon Soo Winter Carnival takes place from Feb. 2 – 10, 2024, and promises fun for the whole family.
This year’s program will span multiple downtown locations, including the Machine Shop, Northern Superior Brewery and the downtown plaza.
It will also include well-known favourites like the fireworks show, the bum slides and the famous Polar Bear Plunge, while also bringing back popular events introduced last year like the Polar Rush Urban Winter Obstacle Course, professional snow sculptures, EDM Sno Bath and the Fire and Ice Hot Sauce Challenge.
Headlining this year’s winter carnival is award-winning Canadian country music star Brett Kissel live in concert at the Machine Shop on Feb. 7. Tickets can be purchased here.

This year, Bon Soo organizers are pleased to offer a more affordable, tag-style pass for $8 each, in addition to the $10 Bon Soo Winter Carnival souvenir buttons, which will be available while supplies last. Both buttons and tags get you access to the carnival!
