Sault Fire Services responded to a garage fire Sunday afternoon in the downtown area.
At around 1:40pm Sunday, a garage fire was reported on Hughes street. The fire was contained to the interior of the building. Hughes street between Albert and Wellington Street east was closed to traffic as crews battled the fire.
The cause and estimated damage is not known at this time.
