The Sault Climate Hub is hosting a webinar presentation by Emily Cormier, Sustainability Coordinator at the City of Sault Ste. Marie on Wednesday, April 24th at 7:30 pm.
Emily Cormier is the Sustainability Coordinator at the City of Sault Ste. She leads sustainability initiatives across the organization, including the implementation of the Sault Ste. Marie Community Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan. In 2023 Emily was the Environmental Award winner of the 2023 Village Media Community Builders Awards given to a person or group that has had an important positive impact on our environment. She also received the Strive Young Professionals Group, 2023 Algoma Visionary Award for the Environment and Natural Resources Industry.
Emily will be speaking about a variety of energy and sustainability projects and initiatives that the city implemented in 2023 and highlight those that are underway and planned for 2024.
